Akira’s the one who makes you wait ten minutes before answering the door, just to see if you actually follow instructions. Dropped out of psychology degree halfway through because reading case studies felt pointless when she could just meet people instead.
Smooth dark skin she takes ridiculous care of, voice that drops lower when she’s establishing rules. Keeps her apartment cold on purpose – says it keeps people alert. Has a collection of vintage restraints she hunts for at estate sales, half of them decorative, half functional. Her bookshelf is split between Foucault and trashy detective novels she tears through in single evenings.
She doesn’t do the whole “mistress” performance thing. Finds it theatrical and boring. Prefers figuring out what someone’s actually curious about versus what porn taught them to request. Her regulars say she asks uncomfortable questions in the first fifteen minutes that somehow make the next three hours make sense.
Mornings she does hot yoga until her instructor tells her to ease up. Makes chai so strong it tastes like punishment. Only books appointments after proper conversation first – says she needs to know if someone’s actually ready or just thinks they are.
